Kangaroo care and electric exit-help

We have been regularly using the VELA Neonatal Chair for more than three years to enable kangaroo care for parents of critically ill premature and newborn babies. It stabilizes the breathing and heart rate of the children, stimulates the mother’s milk production, and creates a bond. With the electrically adjustable chair, placing the child on the parents’ chest from the incubator is possible without much effort. It provides enough space and surfaces for tubes, cables, and access points. After kangaroo care, the rising aid helps newly delivered mothers to stand up gently.
